Kush Patel Wins the Barry Goldwater Scholarship

Kush Patel, an undergraduate researcher in the Temple HCI Lab, was selected as a 2025 Barry Goldwater Scholar. The Goldwater Scholarship is one of the premier undergraduate awards in the United States for students pursuing research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering.

He was one of just three students selected university-wide at Temple that year. Kush is also the second Temple HCI Lab member to receive the award, following Andrew Tran's earlier Goldwater Scholarship recognition.

This recognition highlights Kush's research promise and marks a major achievement for him and for the broader Temple HCI Lab community. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate strong potential for significant future contributions in research.
